West Kennet Long Barrow – The entrance Monotype 30 x 45.7 cm
Over recent years I have had several opportunities to work with the painter Peter Spens making monotypes. He takes his starting point from his exciting paintings of landscapes and cityscapes. I do the same, from the landscapes of Wiltshire.
West Kennet Long Barrow and Avebury are connected as neighbouring prehistoric monuments that form parts of the same designated Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites UNESCO World Heritage Site in Wiltshire.
