A preliminary colour drawing made in the studio. These drawings are often a start point for painting or monotyping. The West Kennet Long Barrow is much older than the Avebury henge. It was was built around 3650 BC in the Early Neolithic period. A little further east in what is now Northwest India and Pakistan, the Indus Valley Civilisation developed a state society 🙂
